Master of Arts in Addiction Counseling — 48 Credit Hours
Year 1: Foundational Core
Required of all students in The American Program in Cairo, regardless of specialization track. Covers the core areas of professional counselor preparation.

Year 2: Addiction Counseling Track
Builds on the Year 1 core foundation. Covers assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use and co-occurring disorders, family systems in addiction, and supervised clinical experience.
